FACTORY TESTED SYSTEMS

Pressure tested at triple design pressure over several days

Quality assurance is at the center of Konvekta. In order to be able to guarantee the quality of the heat exchangers, all soldered joints are inspected and the heat exchanger is exposed to three times the design pressure over several days. This extensive testing avoids effort, costs, and delays in installation and acceptance. Thanks to these stress tests and due to the sturdy design, Konvekta heat exchangers have been in use around the world for many decades with consistently high performance and without any problems.

Factory tested system components

As part of the quality assurance process, all system components are tested in detail before delivery to ensure that no problems occur later. Potential defects or malfunctions of the components are identified and eliminated on site before installation.

Hydraulic assembly ready for connection (piped and internally wired)

The entire hydraulic assembly is manufactured completely ready for connection with internal piping and wiring. Quality assurance checks the flawless assembly and ensures that the unit can be easily integrated into the system on site.
The hydraulic assembly is built to be flexible according to project requirements. It can be supplied in one piece or split, with the assembly being pressure-tested internally as a whole. The assemblies can always be adapted to the project-specific requirements.

TIME OPTIMIZED INSTALLATION

Reduced piping

As a rule, the field-side piping from the hydraulic assembly to the heat exchangers is made of simple carbon steel or equivalent, corresponding to the appropriate pressure rating. This means that the piping can be easily installed on site.

Higher safety during system installation

All Konvekta systems are tested under high pressure according to strict specifications. This ensures that no leaks will occur during the entire lifetime of a system.
Each Konvekta system is thoroughly tested during commissioning to ensure that all safety-related factors are met. As an example, a glycol sample is taken from each system and chemically tested to ensure that the glycol is safe for the system and meets the specification.
Coupled with Konvekta’s full system design in the planning stage, this ensures the safety of an energy recovery system, both technically and hygienically.

Complete hydraulics defined and guaranteed by Konvekta

The complete hydraulic layout is calculated and designed down to the last detail. The entire hydraulic system is completely designed so that the design engineer does not need to perform these calculations.

Preconfigured interfaces

All interfaces of the system are preconfigured and tested. This applies in particular to connections of sensors as well as to the connection to the building automation system.

Regular support during startup and post occupancy

In the event of ambiguities on site, our experts are always available for support. Konvekta employees are happy to contribute their experience. Even after acceptance, the system is monitored by Konvekta using the VPN, so that potential operating issues can be detected and remedied at an early stage.
After commissioning and turnover to the building owner, Konvekta optimizes the system during the first year of operation and guarantees the performance. Without exception, Konvekta takes care of the system efficiency and the satisfaction of the end customer.
