High-performance Energy Recovery System(basic system)

The energy contained in the exhaust air is absorbed by the heat transfer fluid in the exhaust heat exchanger and pumped to the heat exchanger in the supply air where it heats or cools the outside air.

FOR HIGHEST EFFICIENCY

CUSTOMIZED ENERGY RECOVERY

Konvekta systems consist of precisely matched components, which are optimized as part of the design process.

Because Konvekta has the performance mapping of the heat exchangers, the Konvekta Controller can perform a continuous simulation and precisely control the ERS.

While in winter the ERS recovers heat from the exhaust air and supplies it to the supply air, in summer the system dissipates heat so that the supply air is precooled by the ERS.

In the process, several other applications and added features can be integrated into the system, further increasing the overall efficiency – see also Multi-functional ERS.

The design and optimization of the ERS is based on the building use parameters and the site specific climate data for all 8760 hours of the year. Through the analytical approach, based on the Digital Twin method, the peak demands are calculated and reduced. Net annual energy savings are also calculated. Through this process net annual energy savings of 90% can be achieved. Based on this data, an investment/profitability analysis can be prepared during the design phase.
