Sustainability through efficiency: wasting energy is a choice.
Responsibility
Buildings waste valuable energy every day. Recovering it instead of venting it into the atmosphere is one of the fastest ways to reduce emissions.
Konvekta systems achieve verifiable annual energy recovery rates of over 90%, meaning less than 10% of the heating energy needs to come from traditional heat sources. Individual systems save more than 9,000 metric tons of CO₂ per year, and the installed base currently saves more than 260,000 metric tons of CO₂ annually, equivalent to around 30,000 journeys around the world by car.
With the Konvekta Zero Emission Energy Recovery System, buildings can be air-conditioned entirely without fossil fuels. Together with our customers and partners, we help make the built environment more sustainable.

Performance
The true cost is not what you install, but what you operate over time. A Konvekta system carries a higher initial investment, because it is engineered and built to a higher specification, but energy, maintenance, replacement and system-level costs elsewhere in the building all run the other way.
For example, the Klinikum München-Bogenhausen system achieves a verifiable annual efficiency of 86.3%, saving more than 3,200,000 kg of CO₂ and almost 500,000 euros in energy costs per year, a risk-free return on investment of almost 28%.
Because higher recovery efficiency reduces heating and cooling loads, boilers, heat pumps, chillers and district heating capacity can often be sized smaller too. Konvekta’s economic case is not the purchase price. It is the sum of all five.

Because every component, from heat exchanger to controller, is designed, matched and supported by Konvekta itself, in Switzerland, planners, installers and operators are working with one partner across the full life of the system, not a chain of separate suppliers.
